What could be better than a week of Learn to Sail Camp, improving your sailing skills,
and making new friends?  Sailing is a perfect activity for anyone that enjoys water sports
and outdoor recreation. Sailing can be exciting or relaxing.  Regardless of age, ability
or limitations, sailing has something for everyone and can be enjoyed with all ages.

CURRICULUM: Students are taught to sail in club owned boats ranging in size from 8 to 15 feet.
In addition to sailing, students will learn: boat rigging & launching, knot tying, rules and boating safety.

Our staff consists of US Sailing trained & certified instructors.  
We offer a ratio of no more than 6 students per instructor.  Lunch and snacks are provided.

REQUIREMENTS:  Students must be 8 to 17 years old, pass a swim test, and have their own life jacket with safety whistle. 

SCHEDULE: Camp sessions are one week long (Monday through Friday) and run from 8:45 am to 4 pm.

COST: $300 per session per student.

SCHOLARSHIPS:  Discounts are available for PYC Members, multiple sessions, multiple participating siblings from the same family, and based on special financial needs.

REGISTRATION: Consists of choosing the weeks you prefer and filling out 3 forms: 

1. Enrollment - Submitted via email or mailed with payment.
2. Emergency Medical - Must be mailed or provided to Steve with payment or on the first day of camp. 
3. Hold Harmless / Statements of Understanding - Must be signed and
    mailed or provided to Steve the first day of camp.
 
Note: Class size is limited. Weeks are filled as forms are received.
We will update the Camp Calendar on line but also call you
if a camp fills before we receive your registration.
 
SUBMIT or PRINT:  ENROLLMENT FORM
 
PRINT:  EMERGENCY MEDICAL FORM
 
PRINT:  HOLD HARMLESS / STATEMENTS OF UNDERSTANDING FORM
These last two forms must be printed, signed by the parent or legal guardian, and submitted by mail or on the first day of camp.
